  1. Hi JM! I notice that the paint glides very smoothly onto the canvas as you paint. Are you using some kind of medium to increase the flow, or is there a better technique?

    1. hello Laura.. I am just using water to mix and thin the paints... I sand the surface of the canvas to make it smooth so that it won't be hard to create strokes...

  2. This is a Great Christmas present John...and I Thank you for it......

and Merry Christmas to you and your family

    Ed.

  4. I hope some day to paint anything close to your style. it is breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing your process. I notice that your paint flows easily on your canvas and only saw you dip your brush in water at the beginning of the painting. Are you using water throughout? If not, what brand of paint are you using?

    1. Hello Deborah... You're welcome... Yes I always dip the tip of my brush into the water when it feels like hard to make a stroke. You just don't notice it throughout the video because it were so quick. I mostly used liquitex basics and reeves.
