    1. What does that mean..? "spit on light,"...if your referring to "spot," where's the light source? Don't forget...light doesn't always come from the left or right...it can be direct or above..and if shown as in this..looks like he's represented it's coming from the left...showing it as in the highlights...he doesn't have to show it in the composition...as long as it's not present elsewhere...the artist can represent where the light source is...with highlight...
