  1. All of your work that I've seen is quite extraordinary. Your use of color is unique and very pleasant. It makes me want to add more color to my own work. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing. I can't get enough!

  2. Another awesome tutorial.. I will add some holly leaves at the back of these painting , once every thing is quieter here . I am busy preparing for the season. Maligayang Pasko at Manigong Bagong Taon sa iyo at sa iyong  pamilya. maraming salamat for the all beautiful tutorials.

    1. walang anuman po Maam Lhynn... that's a good idea.. go for it... 🙂 thank you very much and Maligayang Pasko din po sa inyo at Manigong Bagong Taon... 🙂

  3. I love your paintings. They look so natural. Your use of mixing colors from a limited palate is fantastic..

  4. This painting looks simple enough but it's actually very difficult to do. It is not for beginners. In painting landscapes, you have plenty of room for mistakes... but not here. To get the shapes, the highlights and the shadows just right in a painting like this one, precision is needed. Also, blending with acrylic paint is very tricky since it dries so fast. Once again, John, you've shown how good an artist you are. Thank you for this... it is much appreciated. Malipayong Pasko og Bulahang Bag-ong Tuig!

    1. you're welcome Maam Malou.. thank you very much for that... yes this is for intermediate artists who wants to learn how I made my lights and shade. Although it's not that perfect. Thank you Malou and Malipayong Pasko ug Bulahang Bag-ong Tuig pud.. 🙂

  5. I just found this. I only like your tutorials. As I said before, you are amazing. Now I Will paint this!

  6. is a wonderful filling when i see some of your paints like this reminds me when I was little in Christmas days without Christmas tree no electricity but I was happy to watching the gifts on the table illuminating by a candle. God bless you

  7. I love this. You sure make straight lines and circles look easy - but they're not. Well done without a photo also. Thanks, John.
