  2. This looks so realistic but looks like it wasn't that difficult to do. The background trees look so real plus all the shadows and highlights on the snow really bring it to life. Recently my husband got his position taken away from him at work due to the fact the Dr told him to stay home and rest his injured foot. My husband's paycheck has almost been cut in half. We are really struggling to get by and to still have money for food and medicine. I have disc herniations and fibromyalgia but may be forced to try and find a job. I think the Lord led me to your channel to show me I could still learn to paint, maybe not oils like I 1st started learning, but a limited acrylic pallet. So thankful for you and your channel ❤️🙏 God bless you and your family!

  4. Hi John! I have been watching you paint for many years now during my recovery from a traumatic spinal injury. I stand stronger now and have been so inspired by you. You have always been my favorite artist on Youtube. My son and I have recently started our own acrylic painting Youtube channel thanks to your painting tutorials. You have challenged me to get better. We hope you enjoy looking at the monster you created....lol. My son and I say thank you and what a blast it has been. We hope to keep the communication open. Merry Christmas 2019.

  6. I wanted to tell you that i painted this and although I didn't make my "big" tree large enough - it turned out wonderfully and I have received so many compliments on it - more than any other I've done - I want to thank you for your excellent teaching methods. Wish I could show you how it turned out. I believe it is my favorite.
