    1. I am the same way. I sometimes have to start a painting three times. Some days it goes great, other days I canโ€™t paint at all.

Hi Jim,ive commented on some of your other tutorials, im also an artist and like you i started early,at 14 like you!,its great that you teach things like this,as background can sometimes make or break the illusion of the painting depending on the style, i mostly paint in oil,and your tutorials for acrylic are great, i get a great deal of pleasure applying your techniques and getting great results, ive started painting mostly in acrylics and your tutorials are some of the best in youtube,,and im saying this as a professional artist of 20 years this year!kudos to you my friend!
